When the woods turn blue.

Thank you to those who sent kind messages after my last blog.


There is a time in the Spring when the undergrowth of some of the woodlands of Britain take on a deep blue hue.

These are the days of the bluebell - a perennial flower that grows from a bulb.

Here are a few images from a woodland on the west of the Wight.
